In the 2025 NCA–DCA Innovation Challenge, 127 Malawians submitted groundbreaking ideas designed to solve some of the nation’s most pressing challenges. Esteemed judges from NORGAD and Danish Church Aid carefully evaluated each submission, selecting only six finalists.
NutriCare Malawi was honored to stand among these top innovators. Being shortlisted was already a milestone—but what followed exceeded our greatest expectations.
Pitch Day: The Moment of Truth
On 2nd December, the nation watched as the six finalists presented their solutions. The atmosphere was intense—filled with anticipation, nerves, and hope. Despite the pressure, we stepped onto that stage with conviction in our mission.
And when the judges delivered their final decision, NutriCare Malawi was named:
2025 National Innovation Champion
Alongside this prestigious national recognition, we received MWK 64 million in support to scale our innovation. Standing among Malawi’s brightest minds and emerging as the top innovation was both humbling and inspiring. But for us, this achievement is not about the award—it is about gratitude.
