The Building Resilience Against Climate and Environmental Shocks (BRACE) initiative is a robust capacity-development program dedicated to empowering African agri-SMEs (agripreneurs) to thrive in a changing climate.
Program Highlights
- A hybrid learning journey combining six weeks of self-paced online modules, interactive mentoring, peer learning, and practical assignments
- Features a diagnostic tool to assess participants’ awareness and readiness to adopt climate-smart solutions.
- Designed to help agripreneurs “green” their businesses—making them more resilient and investor-ready
- Offers training modules on climate-smart agriculture, adaptation and mitigation strategies, gender and climate dynamics, supply-chain resilience, climate policy, carbon markets, and climate financing
- Built to empower youth (18–40 years), especially registered African agribusiness owners across sectors—crop production, processing, marketing, aggregation, etc.
